Forest Fires in Turkey's Adana Province
Forest fires have broken out in the Imamoglu district of Turkey's southern Adana province.
It has been reported that the fires erupted from two different ignition points. Due to the intensity of the fires, the firefighting operation involves 6 helicopters, 2 planes, 34 fire trucks, and other necessary equipment.
A total of 182 firefighters are currently on site. It is emphasized that they have managed to prevent the spread of the fire towards residential villages and have partially brought it under control; however, full extinguishment has not yet been achieved.
There is speculation that the fires may have been set intentionally.
