Ruben Hakobyan Transferred to Hospital from Prison

Former MP Ruben Hakobyan's health has deteriorated in prison. He was urgently transferred to the hospital from prison last night, as reported by Hakobyan’s son.

He added that his father did not stay long at the hospital and did not undergo the necessary examinations because it was Sunday, and he was transported back to prison. “This is disgraceful. A 70-year-old politician is detained for expressing a political opinion. My father’s poor condition was not enough to keep him in the hospital. If he were Bin Laden, the world’s criminal, it would have been a big problem for him to stay in the hospital on a Sunday,” said Samvel Hakobyan.

It should be noted that Ruben Hakobyan has been arrested for two months as of July 19 for making public calls aimed at seizing power.
