Israel Proposes to Close French Consulate in Jerusalem
The head of Israel's Foreign Ministry, Gidon Saar, has advised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to close the French consulate in response to Paris's initiative for the unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state. This matter was raised during the government meeting today.
A decision is expected to be made in the near future.
