The Temperature Will Gradually Decrease: Weather in Armenia

From August 17-20, dry weather is expected across the Republic. After noon on August 16, brief rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in some regions, with a possibility of hail.

The wind will be northwestern at 2-5 m/s, with expected gusts of wind reaching 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms. In the evenings of August 16 and 19-20, wind gusts of 15-18 m/s are expected in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn.

The air temperature will decrease by 3-6 degrees Celsius during the day on August 16, then gradually rise by 7-10 degrees from August 17-19. In Yerevan, dry weather is anticipated from August 17-20. Brief rain and thunderstorms might occur in some areas of the city on the evening of August 16. Wind gusts of 14-18 m/s are expected in the evenings of August 16 and 19-20.
