Russian President Vladimir Putin held a consultation at the Kremlin and discussed the results of negotiations with his American counterpart, President Donald Trump, in Alaska. The main statements were presented by "RIA Novosti."

"The visit to Alaska was timely and very useful, the conversation with Trump was sincere and substantive. The negotiations in Alaska move us closer to necessary solutions. We haven't held direct negotiations at such a level in a long time. I repeat, there was an opportunity to calmly and in detail once again lay out our position," said Putin.
