Samvel Karapetyan's Detention Extended

Samvel Karapetyan's detention has been extended for another two months. Earlier, it was reported that a motion to extend the imprisonment of businessman Samvel Karapetyan was being reviewed in the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia. Supporters of Samvel Karapetyan had gathered in the courtyard of the court.

“An evidently unfounded motion has been submitted, which has not overcome the minimum threshold of substantiation at all. This motion is titled concerning Samvel Karapetyan, but there is absolutely no connection of Samvel Karapetyan to it,” said Aram Vardevanyan, one of Karapetyan's defenders.
