He Is a Smart Guy: Trump on Putin

US President Donald Trump referred to Russian President Vladimir Putin as a smart person and expressed hope that the summit in Alaska will be productive.

“He is a smart guy. Both sides have a good level of respect. And I think something will come out of it,” Trump told reporters aboard the plane en route to Alaska.
