Pakistan's Prime Minister's Message to India

India must demonstrate political will for a diplomatic resolution to the Jammu and Kashmir issue. This was stated by Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in his message to the nation on the occasion of Independence Day.

"Pakistan won in the war from May 6 to 10, which started due to Indian aggression. This not only reinforced the sense of freedom but also sparked new aspirations and enthusiasm in the hearts of Pakistanis. The military strength and heroism of the Pakistan Army brought the enemies to their knees," said the Prime Minister.

He stated that Pakistan will continue to resolutely defend its sovereignty and believes in the possibility of resolving regional and global issues through dialogue and diplomacy. "India must show the same will to resolve all issues, including the conflict around Jammu and Kashmir," Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif emphasized.
