Khudatyan on Border Demarcation
The preliminary signing is an exceptionally important process, especially with such a representative composition. It holds crucial significance for the lasting peace in Armenia and, consequently, for the sustainability of Armenian statehood, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. This was stated by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Davit Khudatyan, during a press briefing with journalists.
Regarding the return of the territories occupied by Azerbaijan within the Republic of Armenia, the minister noted the following: “We are confident that the issues will be resolved as a result of the border demarcation process. The demarcation process and the logic behind it have been clearly articulated, and the previously implemented demarcation efforts give us confidence that this process will be continuous. There is an agreement that the border demarcation process will continue. And I believe that the issues addressed through this border demarcation process will be resolved peacefully using the tools of demarcation.”
“We have initiated a peace process where all issues will be resolved,” Khudatyan said.
