Germany to Finance Another Military Equipment and Ammunition Package for Ukraine

Germany will finance one of the first corporate packages that will help Kyiv with a total of up to $500 million. This involves military products that are either not produced by the European industry or can be delivered by the United States in necessary volumes more rapidly. Such armaments include, for example, critical air defense means needed to repel Russia's airborne assaults.

“We thank the United States for its willingness to supply weapons and ammunition to Ukraine and welcome the contributions of allies recently announced in this context,” noted officials in Germany's foreign affairs office.
