Trump Wants to Look Into Putin's Eyes: America Will Give Nothing Up, Says Marco Rubio

The meeting between Putin and Trump will not be a concession from the United States, stated U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. He pointed out that some people are "going crazy" thinking that organizing the meeting signifies a victory for the Russian president.

"The meeting will take place to clarify and make decisions. Trump wants to gather all the facts, to look into Putin's eyes. That’s what the president aims to achieve. Frankly, I believe that during this meeting, we will quite quickly understand whether there is any chance for this endeavor to succeed or not," said U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, addressing the ongoing situation around Ukraine.
