US President Donald Trump is prepared to offer Putin access to Alaska's rare metals in exchange for establishing peace in Ukraine. This was reported by The Telegraph.

"Trump plans to propose to Russia access to the region's rare natural resources during a meeting with Putin in Anchorage, Alaska, and partially lift sanctions on Russia's aviation industry," the publication stated.

According to the report, this initiative is part of a package of economic proposals aimed at incentivizing Moscow to halt the war in Ukraine. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessenet is involved in preparing Trump's negotiations by analyzing the economic compromises Washington might make to expedite a ceasefire agreement.
