Iran's Foreign Ministry Accuses America of Crimes Against Humanity

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has called for the recognition of the sanctions imposed by Washington and its allies as crimes against humanity.

“It is time to recognize the inhumane sanctions imposed by the U.S. and its accomplices as crimes against humanity. The sanctioned countries must coordinate their efforts to develop a unified and collective response,” Araghchi wrote on his page on X social media.

Furthermore, it should be noted that the U.S. Department of the Treasury had previously announced that the Trump administration imposed the largest package of sanctions against Iran to date. The new sanctions target more than 50 individuals and organizations linked to Mohammad Hossein Shamkhani, son of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Shamkhani.
