If I Don’t Get the Answers I Want, There Will Be No Second Meeting with Putin: Trump

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated during a press conference with reporters that if his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 5 goes well, he would like to have a second meeting with both Putin and Zelensky almost immediately.

“If the first meeting goes well, I would like to have a second meeting almost immediately between Putin, Zelensky, and myself, if they want me there,” Trump said.

Trump emphasized that if he does not receive the answers he wants, there will be no second meeting with Putin. He also added that if Russia does not agree to establish a ceasefire by Friday, the U.S. should expect very serious consequences.
