Trump Delays New High Tariffs on China Imports by 90 Days
US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order postponing the imposition of new high tariffs on Chinese goods for another 90 days. This was announced by a White House official.
The order was signed just a few hours before the deadline for Trump's tariff freeze was set to expire.
The delay was an expected outcome of the latest round of trade negotiations between US negotiators and their Chinese counterparts that took place in Stockholm at the end of last month.
