Mirzoyan Holds Phone Conversation with Kaia Kallas

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia reports that today, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a phone conversation with Kaia Kallas, the Vice President of the European Commission and High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

Minister Mirzoyan highlighted the importance of the pre-signing of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan in light of the agreements made in Washington on August 8. He emphasized this as a significant milestone in the process of normalizing relations between the two countries.

Ararat Mirzoyan also noted that the implementation of the agreed framework regarding the unblocking of regional communications, particularly the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” project, will have a significant impact on expanding connectivity in the South Caucasus and beyond.
