EU Prepares New Sanctions Package Against Russia

The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has announced the preparation of the 19th sanctions package against Russia. Brussels is firmly opposed to any discussions on concessions to Moscow and is moving forward with this new set of sanctions.

“Since Russia has not agreed to a full and unconditional ceasefire, we should not even discuss any concessions. This has never been effective for Russia in the past, and it will not be effective with Putin today,” stated Borrell.
