Now Putin Wants to Surrender for the Occupation of Kherson Region, Crimea and More: Zelensky

“Russia’s desires to seize Ukrainian territories will remain merely desires as long as Ukrainians stand side by side,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

He added, “Contacts with the U.S. continue almost throughout the day at various levels, and we do not make everything public.”

“When Russia was allowed to take Crimea, it led to the occupation of parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and the absence of preventive punishment for the concentration of troops near Ukraine's borders turned into a large-scale invasion. Now Putin wants to surrender for the occupation of southern Kherson, Zaporizhia, all of Luhansk, Donetsk, and Crimea. We will not allow Ukraine to be divided.”

It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump will meet in Alaska on August 15. Later, Donald Trump stated that instead of sanctions, they would discuss Ukraine.
