Aghvan Arshakyan's Prison Sentence Converted to House Arrest

The court has recently changed the preventive measure for Aghvan Arshakyan. The court (judge: Gnel Gasparyan) granted the request of attorney Varazdat Harutyunyan and converted Aghvan Arshakyan's prison sentence to house arrest.

It is worth noting that previous requests to lift Aghvan Arshakyan's detention had been rejected by the courts. Earlier, Aghvan Arshakyan's condition had sharply worsened in prison. He had been detained for two months in relation to the 'Coup Case.'
