Zelensky and Macron Discuss Trump's Conversation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron regarding a discussion with American colleague Donald Trump. Zelensky announced this on social media, as reported by "European Pravda."

According to the Ukrainian leader, they coordinated their positions during the conversation. "Much depends on the balance and effectiveness of every step we take in Europe and America—both now and in the future," he noted.

"We remember that a real ceasefire is necessary. Ukraine is ready for it, and there has still been no clear public response from Russia. Therefore, the near future should show what consequences there will be if Russia continues to prolong the war and disrupt constructive efforts," he added.

It is worth noting that the day before, after the meeting between U.S. Ambassador Steve Whitkoff and Vladimir Putin, Trump had conversations with Zelensky and other European leaders.
