Putin-Trump Meeting May Be Historical: Dmitriev

The upcoming meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump could become historical. This opinion was expressed by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and special representative of the President of Russia for economic cooperation with foreign countries.

“Russia confirms that the Putin-Trump summit may take place next week, and preparations are ongoing. This meeting could be historic. Dialogue will triumph,” he wrote on X.

It is noteworthy that Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the Russian leader, announced that next week has been set as the targeted date for the meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
