Deputy’s Son Sergei Bagratyan Interrogated by Armenian Investigative Committee

The son of the National Assembly deputy from the ruling Civil Contract party, Sergei Bagratyan, has been interrogated by the Investigative Committee of Armenia. He currently holds the status of a witness.

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" has provided details on the matter. Bagratyan's son reported to the Investigative Committee that he had visited Noravank with his 40-day-old baby, wife, parents, and relatives. On their way back from the monastery complex, both the newborn and his mother began to feel unwell. According to his testimony, upon reaching his parental home, the car was parked near the entrance so that the baby and mother could enter the house as soon as possible.

At that moment, a citizen approached his vehicle and expressed dissatisfaction that Shant had parked right in front of the entrance. He and his brother-in-law, David, explained what the issue was, but the citizen continued to complain. David approached the citizen and spoke with him; however, the conversation escalated into a verbal dispute, leading to a scuffle, which eventually attracted the attention of police who arrested everyone involved and took them to the station.

What testimony did the citizen provide regarding urging the Deputy's son to move his parked car? "Zhoghovurd" has learned that he mentioned in the Investigative Committee that he became irritated seeing the parked car, following which the conversation heated up, and they began to pull each other.
