Jordan Accuses Israel of Inaction
The Jordanian authorities have accused Israel of failing to intervene during an attack on a convoy of trucks carrying humanitarian aid for residents of the Gaza Strip on Wednesday. This was reported by Jordanian government spokesperson Mohammed Al Momani to Reuters.
Israeli settlers attacked a convoy consisting of 30 trucks heading to the enclave for humanitarian assistance, resulting in the aid not being delivered on time. “This requires serious intervention from Israel, and there should be no leniency towards those who create obstacles for these convoys,” the agency's source stated. According to him, Israeli forces are creating issues for the passage of vehicles carrying humanitarian cargo to the enclave. For example, on August 3, several trucks were forced to turn back due to obstacles imposed by Israel.
