India and Russia Reaffirm Their Strategic Partnership

India and Russia have reaffirmed their strategic partnership in the metallurgy and industry sectors, agreeing to deepen cooperation in the fields of aluminum, fertilizers, railroads, and mining technologies, as reported by the Indian government's information service following the 11th meeting of the India-Russia working group on modernization and industrial cooperation held in New Delhi.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a memorandum, which "reaffirms the strategic partnership between India and Russia and their joint commitment to deepen industrial and economic cooperation." Approximately 80 delegates from both sides, including government officials, experts, and industry representatives, discussed collaboration in aviation, space science, and technology, including the production of piston engines for small aircraft, as well as joint developments in carbon fiber technology, additive manufacturing, and 3D printing.

It is noteworthy that today Trump signed a decree imposing an additional 25% import tariff on goods imported from India due to the supply of Russian oil.
