If oil prices drop slightly, Russia will stop the war in Ukraine, believes U.S. President Donald Trump.

"If the price of oil drops another ten dollars per barrel, he will have no choice. The economy is already in bad shape," Trump said in an interview with CNBC News.

He also added that he intends to significantly raise tariffs on India within 24 hours, as it continues to purchase Russian oil.

Additionally, Trump threatened to raise tariffs on the European Union to 35 percent if it does not meet its obligations to the American economy.

Last week, the U.S. President and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen reached a trade agreement. Now almost all goods exported from the EU to the U.S. will be subjected to a 15 percent tariff. Furthermore, the EU has committed to purchase liquefied natural gas, nuclear fuel, and weapons from the United States.
