European Countries Begin Allocating Funds for Ukraine
European countries have started allocating funds under the "Trump scheme," where Europe purchases weapons from the U.S. and then transfers them to Ukraine. Alternatively, they may reimburse themselves for what has previously been provided to Kyiv. Today, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark have allocated half a billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine, as reported by Zelensky. The funds will be directed towards air defense systems and artillery.
Yesterday, the Netherlands allocated the same amount. It is not yet specified when Ukraine will be able to receive weapons in exchange for these funds. Earlier reports indicated how much Europe would spend on Ukraine.
