Arsen Torosyan Addresses Accusations of Corruption Against Him

The staff of the newspaper known as 'this people' is so ignorant that they can't even write a bad article about me. This was stated by Prosperous Armenia MP Arsen Torosyan on his Facebook page.

"They took it upon themselves to study the distribution of state funds during the COVID period and published a so-called 'scandalous' article. Not only are they so illiterate that they do not understand that healthcare facilities receive funding based on the number of patients they treated, and therefore the more patients a healthcare facility treats, the more funding it receives, but it also turns out, oh surprise, that the most funding was received by, pay attention, STATE HEALTHCARE FACILITIES. Shouldn’t we have taken those funds home like the chiefs of the newspaper staff? With those resources, tens of thousands of people have been treated, and thousands have been saved from the claws of the virus.

The ignorant staff of the newspaper still doesn't understand that they are defeated in this battle, even though they have lost in all the other battles as well. P.S. I don’t even want to refer to the other lies included in the article,” he wrote.

It should be reminded that earlier the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' reported on suspicious distributions of funds spent during Arsen Torosyan's tenure in the fight against the coronavirus, discrepancies in spending, and ineffective appendages.

Now we will present facts regarding how and why, in 2020, of the 26,491,923.9 thousand drams financed for the purpose of 'Rapid prevention, control, treatment, and overcoming of the new coronavirus infection in Armenia', 16,820,846.8 thousand drams were allocated by Minister Arsen Torosyan’s order to 26 repurposed medical establishments.
