Our Political Team Will Propose a New Development Path for the Country: Narek Karapetyan

Our political team will propose a new development path for the country. This was announced on his Facebook page by Narek Karapetyan, Vice President of the Tashir Group of Companies.

“Apart from Yerevan, we are experiencing a population decline in most regions, and we lack institutions that ensure long-term development. The industrialization of Armenia has no alternative. The main problem in our country is employment. Our political team will propose a new development path for the country, selecting a region and creating an industrial development program based on that region. We will start from Vanadzor,” said Karapetyan.

According to him, only three large factories have been built in Vanadzor in the past 30 years. “After the collapse of the Soviet Union, our industrial potential was destroyed, and in recent years we have not attempted to restore it, but rather have ensured people’s employment through small service-oriented companies. The population of Vanadzor cannot help but decrease if there are no factories in the city. The only way to activate the economy in the regions and increase the population is to build factories,” stated Narek Karapetyan.
