Dilijan Tunnel to Be Closed During Night Hours

The Road Department reports that starting from August 6, traffic through the Dilijan Tunnel will be closed for all types of vehicles during nighttime hours (from 00:00 to 06:00).

Repair works will be carried out on the trafficable section of the tunnel. During nighttime hours, vehicles with a permissible maximum weight of up to 7 tons can bypass the Dilijan Tunnel through the village of Semjonovka. Vehicles weighing over 7 tons and those with trailers will not be allowed to use this road during nighttime hours.

Traffic through the tunnel will be open during daytime hours. Additional information regarding the restoration of traffic through the Dilijan Tunnel during nighttime hours will be provided.
