Armenian Soldiers Trained in the USA

The U.S. Embassy in Armenia has reported that 19 sergeants of the Armenian Armed Forces participated in sergeant training in Kansas last month with the Kansas National Guard.

They took part in the 9th annual program of the 'Phoenix' platoon for sergeant retraining. 'From July 14 to 25, representatives of the Armenian Armed Forces' sergeant corps improved their skills and familiarized themselves with the best practices of the United States, while simultaneously strengthening the ties between our peoples. This annual program for the exchange of experiences between the Kansas National Guard and the Armenian Armed Forces aims to develop a professional sergeant corps and provides an excellent opportunity to enhance interoperability of our armed forces and deepen the Armenian-American partnership,' the statement said.
