We Know Who Makes Decisions in Russia and Who Needs to Stop the War, Says Zelensky

We are familiar with the statements from the Russian side. Ukraine is ready to negotiate with Russia at the level of heads of state. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made this announcement on his Telegram page.

“If this is not a signal to gain time to continue the war and evade sanctions, but rather a signal to stop the war and establish lasting peace, Ukraine reaffirms its readiness for negotiations at any moment at the level of heads of state. We understand who makes decisions in Russia and who must stop the war. This is something that not only we know, but the entire world,” wrote Zelensky.

He also emphasized Ukraine's willingness to move from statements and technical meetings to negotiations at the leaders' level. The United States has also made this proposal, and we have supported it. At this stage, Russia is required to be prepared for this,” Zelensky added.

He also highlighted his support for U.S. President Donald Trump's efforts to stop the war and achieve peace.
