Cambodia to Nominate Trump for Nobel Peace Prize
Ofelya
Cambodia is planning to nominate U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in resolving the conflict between Thailand and Cambodia, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chantal told the Wall Street Journal.
In July, Trump announced that he had talked with the leaders of Cambodia and Thailand, stating that the United States would not sign trade agreements with those countries while they are in conflict.
He later added that the authorities of the countries had agreed to meet urgently to draft a ceasefire agreement, after which Washington would be ready to resume trade talks with them.
