Changes for Holders of Foreign Driving Licenses
Citizens of Armenia and dual citizens holding a foreign driving license can drive in Armenia for three months without restrictions. This information was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Ministry initiated legislative changes aimed at simplifying and adapting the procedure for driving with foreign licenses in Armenia based on conducted studies and citizen proposals.
As of August 2, individuals holding Armenian citizenship or dual citizenship can drive vehicles with foreign driving licenses for three months from the date of entry into Armenia without facing administrative penalties.
The legislative change also applies to those holding foreign driving licenses who are already in the country when the law comes into effect.
