Armenian State Budget Faces Shortfall
The Ministry of Finance of Armenia has published information regarding the execution of the state budget for the first half of 2025. In the first half of 2025, the revenues of the state budget amounted to 1.433.1 trillion dram, achieving 102.2% of the projected indicators outlined in the budget plan for the period.
Compared to the same period last year, state budget revenues have increased by 15.2%, which is equivalent to 189.4 billion dram.
During the first half of 2025, the expenditures of the Armenian state budget totaled 1.472.3 trillion dram, reflecting 85.2% execution of the revised budget plan for the period. Expenditures have increased by 19.4% or 239.6 billion dram compared to the same period last year.
As a result, the state budget for the first half of 2025 has been executed with a shortfall of 39.2 billion dram, against a planned shortfall of 325.3 billion dram and a shortfall of 11 billion dram reported for the same period last year.
