Zelensky Thanks Trump; No Response from Putin

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump for his firm stance against Russia. He made this statement on his page on 'X'. Zelensky noted that Trump's recent remarks demonstrate his determination and clear position in the negotiations.

“I thank President Trump for focusing on saving lives and stopping this terrible war. Ukraine remains committed to peace and will tirelessly work with the United States to make our countries safer, stronger, and more prosperous,” wrote Zelensky.

It is worth mentioning that on July 14, the U.S. President called on Moscow to reach a peace agreement within 50 days. Otherwise, the U.S. will impose 100% 'secondary' tariffs on all countries that continue to trade with Russia.
