France to Send Airborne Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

France will begin sending humanitarian aid by air in the coming days to meet the urgent and immediate needs of the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, reports Agence France-Presse, citing diplomatic sources.

“All precautionary measures will be taken to ensure the safety of the population during these operations,” the agency quoted its source as saying. At the same time, the interlocutor acknowledged that these actions do not eliminate the need to open land corridors for the delivery of humanitarian supplies.

“France is also working on land supply, which is undoubtedly the most effective solution to provide the population with necessary humanitarian aid,” he added.

Earlier, Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that Germany, in collaboration with Jordan, would create an “air bridge” to provide humanitarian assistance to the residents of the Palestinian enclave.
