Azerbaijani Gas Opens New Opportunities for Ukraine

The reservation of the Trans-Balkan gas pipeline's capacities has increased by 2.6 times against the backdrop of the first Azerbaijani gas supplies to Ukraine. This was announced by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

"This, in turn, has opened up additional opportunities for diversifying supply sources and more efficient use of Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities," the ministry stated.

It is worth noting that earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian Naftogaz group of companies has signed the first agreement with SOCAR Energy Ukraine (the state oil company of Azerbaijan).
