Trump Announces New Deadline for Russia on Ukraine Issue
The new deadline for Russia regarding the Ukraine issue will be 10 to 12 days, announced U.S. President Donald Trump.
Trump stated that there is no reason to wait any longer beyond the previously allotted 50 days. According to the politician, he wished to be generous, but there has been no progress.
"I will set a new deadline—10 or 12 days from today," said Trump.
Previously, the U.S. President had threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin with tariffs on 100 percent of buyers of Russian oil if Russia did not agree to establish a ceasefire in Ukraine within the 50-day timeline.
