Timelines for Classes and Vacations in Armenia for 2025-2026 Academic Year Announced

By the order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasian, the duration of educational activities and vacation dates for students in public educational institutions operating basic (general, specialized, and special) state programs during the 2025-2026 academic year have been established.

Classes for students in grades 1 to 12 will begin on September 1, 2025, and will end on May 22, 2026, under a 5-day work week; on May 23, 2026, for a 6-day work week.

The vacation periods for students from grades 1 to 12 in public educational institutions during the 2025-2026 academic year are set as follows:

• First Grade: October 13-24, 2025, inclusive, for a 5-day work week; and October 13-25, 2025, for a 6-day work week.
  December 22, 2025, to January 16, 2026, inclusive, for a 5-day work week; and December 22, 2025, to January 17, 2026, for a 6-day work week.
  March 16-27, 2026, inclusive, for a 5-day work week; and March 16-28, 2026, for a 6-day work week.
• Second Grade: October 20-24, 2025, inclusive, for a 5-day work week; and October 20-25, 2025, for a 6-day work week.
  December 22, 2025, to January 16, 2026, inclusive, for a 5-day work week; and December 22, 2025, to January 17, 2026, for a 6-day work week.
  March 23-27, 2026, inclusive, for a 5-day work week; and March 23-28, 2026, for a 6-day work week.
• Grades 3-12: October 20-24, 2025, inclusive, for a 5-day work week; and October 20-25, 2025, for a 6-day work week.
  December 22, 2025, to January 5, 2026, inclusive.
  March 23-27, 2026, inclusive, for a 5-day work week; and March 23-28, 2026, for a 6-day work week.
