Several Casualties and Injuries from Cambodian Strikes in Thailand
In Thailand, at least 14 civilians and eight soldiers have been killed as a result of armed clashes along the border with Cambodia. Additionally, 140 people have been injured, according to an announcement from the Thai government website.
The injured include 37 civilians and 103 military personnel, and 139,600 people have evacuated from high-risk areas, with the largest evacuations occurring in Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket, and Surin provinces.
It is important to note that high-level ceasefire negotiations between Cambodia and Thailand have commenced in Malaysia, as reported by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
