In Yerevan, Rainfall in 20 Minutes Exceeded Monthly Norm

On the evening of July 25, Yerevan experienced heavy rainfall, with the amount of rain in just 20 minutes exceeding that of an entire month's norm. This was reported by the Mayor's advisor, Kamo Areyan.

"In conditions of such intense rainfall, no matter how efficient and operational the system is, it could not accommodate the entire volume of rain. Streets, sidewalks, and parts of underground transport hubs were flooded," he stated.
