Citizen Trapped Under Elevator Cabin in Hotel, Subsequently Hospitalized

On July 28, at 04:02, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting that in a hotel complex in Yerevan, an elevator cabin had fallen and was resting on a citizen in the shaft; assistance from rescuers was needed.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Yerevan was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that while retrieving a key that had fallen into the elevator shaft, a power fluctuation occurred, causing the citizen to become trapped under the elevator cabin.

Rescuers freed the citizen from confinement and brought him to an ambulance, where he was subsequently hospitalized at a medical center.
