Watercraft Capsizes: Two Citizens and a Rubber Boat Rescued from Shore
On July 27, at 14:04, lifeguards on duty at the 3rd public beach of Lake Sevan noticed an overturned watercraft.
The rescuers retrieved one citizen and the watercraft from approximately 150 meters off the shore.
It was also reported that at 15:54, the crisis management center of the Gegharkunik regional rescue service received a call indicating that a citizen was unable to reach the shore with a rubber boat from one of the beaches near the village of Drakhtik and required the assistance of rescuers.
A rescue team from the special rescue operations center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which was on duty at the public beach of Shoghakat village, was dispatched to the scene.
The rescuers retrieved two citizens and the rubber boat from approximately 1 kilometer away at the Drakhtik public beach.
