Israeli Army Reports Killing of Senior Hezbollah Commander

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that they killed a senior commander of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon, according to RIA Novosti.

“The Israel Defense Forces struck and killed terrorist Ali Abd al-Qader Ismail, who was the commander of the Hezbollah organization's headquarters located in Bint Jbeil,” the army's press service stated in a published announcement.

According to the Israeli army, the slain commander was involved in efforts to rearm Hezbollah in Bint Jbeil and prepare for new attacks.
