Tense Situation in Ukrainian Cities as Protesters Camp Out in Streets
Ofelya
Protests have been ongoing in Kyiv for several days now. Protesters are camping out in the streets, continuing their demonstrations against a controversial law, while also demanding the resignation of Andriy Yermak, head of President Volodymyr Zelensky's office, reports Strana.ua.
According to law enforcement, the protesters are not leaving the streets, with their numbers steadily increasing. It is expected that their ranks could double this evening.
It should be noted that earlier reports indicated that protests against the dissolution of two anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine are also continuing. Demonstrations have taken place in Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Odesa, and other cities.
