Zakhrova: They Looked Bad for Russian Traces During Raids
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has mockingly commented on the situation surrounding the restriction of rights of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, as well as the raids conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in those organizations.
“They looked badly for Russian traces during the raids. The Russian trace should have been found by locating shoes, a coat, as they call it, with a hat and headphones. They needed to pull a few bears out of the corner, you know, the resistors. The main thing is that we do not expose ourselves during any investigation,” stated Zakharova during an interview on Sputnik radio.
On July 22, the Supreme Rada approved a draft law that abolishes the independence of the two anti-corruption agencies. Later, Volodymyr Zelensky signed the corresponding law. Prior to that, the Security Service of Ukraine had conducted searches at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
