Ukraine Could Lose Western Support, Zelensky Warns
Kiev may lose support from the West due to pressure on anti-corruption services, as reported by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ). The publication recalls that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine was initially established at the request of Ukraine's Western allies to assist the new government.
Anti-corruption activists believe that the attacks on the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine are a response by Kiev's authorities to the investigation into former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov.
Zelensky signed a bill the previous day that limits the powers of anti-corruption agencies.
