Major Car Accident in Armavir Region: Casualties Reported

The National Center for Crisis Management received a call on July 23 at 01:05 reporting that a traffic accident had occurred in the village of Musaler, Armavir region, and that there were injured individuals in need of rescue.

This information was disclosed by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia. A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that vehicles of the brands 'Jeep' and 'Opel' collided on the 9th kilometer of the Vagharshapat-Yerevan highway. Prior to the arrival of the rescuers, the driver of the 'Opel' was hospitalized.

The rescuers de-energized the vehicles and closed the gas valve on the 'Opel' vehicle.
