Unclear Reasons and Justifications: Torosyan on the Freeze of His Accounts

KP MP Arsen Torosyan made a post on his Facebook page titled "Apolitical Benefactors" regarding Samvel Karapetyan's demand to freeze his accounts.

"It has been proven multiple times that the amount of money does not necessarily mean the presence of intellect, especially in politics. It seems to Kaluga's Samo and terrorist relatives that they can silence us with lawsuits. Referring to today's publication about me, I declare that in the lawsuit against me, the 'great benefactor' Samo had asked the court to apply precautionary measures in the amount of 9 million drams, and for reasons and justifications that remain unclear to me, the court accepted that request. We will address this judicial practice later, as some are suing political figures for their political statements, and now the courts are making such decisions," he stated.

He added in his post: "I have also requested the court to overturn that baseless decision on the precautionary measure because I have no intention of selling my property and fleeing from Armenia, especially from Samo's fear. And to the 'benefactor' Samo, who has accumulated his wealth in Kaluga, I will say one thing: either you or your 'defenders' respond politically to our political statements, although it is obvious that neither you nor your hired 'defenders' are capable of that."
