Iran Temporarily Halts Uranium Enrichment Activities: Araqchi

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araqchi, stated in an interview with Fox News that Tehran is open to negotiations with the United States, but at this stage, only in an indirect format. He addressed the recent strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities by the United States, admitting that they have been seriously damaged.

According to Abbas Araqchi, Iran's Atomic Energy Organization is currently assessing the extent of the damage and has temporarily halted uranium enrichment activities. At the same time, he warned that Iran would not abandon its uranium enrichment program despite the threats of severe international sanctions.

It is also noteworthy that U.S. President Donald Trump, commenting on Araqchi's statements, declared that Washington is prepared to launch new strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities if necessary.
